As Westerns Pit Gauge Product Series gains popularity, we are able to address various industry needs. When API Inspectors (510, 570, 653) see all of the different models of Pit Gauges we offer, they immediately want one of each! Unfortunately budget constrains take hold and hes limited to pick and choose his components. Simply due to customer requests, so we offer the Vessel Inspectors Kit.
The Reaching Plus Blade is 6 long, so it will deal with some of the worst Weight-Loss-Corrosion we often see in Vessels and Tanks. The cut-away nose, at the end of the Blade, allows the inspector to get right up to a Weld, and will often reach over welds.
Carrying Case, Reaching Pit Gauge (N88-5), Pocket Pit Gauge Blade (N88-4B), Basic Blade (N88-2B), Allan Key, Spare #1 Contact Point, and Operator Instructions.

Jr. Bridging Pit Gauge – N88-11
The Jr. Bridging Pit Gauge Group provides Inspectors with an Economical Alternative to the Bridging Pit Gauge System. The new Jr. Bridging Pit Gauge is available as 3 models; the standard Jr. Bridging Pit Gauge, the Plus, and the Super. The standard Jr. Bridging Pit Gauge assembles to an overall length of 13″ (340mm). The Jr. Bridging Pit Gauge Plus can be assembled in either Spanning or Cantilevering Configurations up to 15″ (394mm) long. While the Jr. Bridging Pit Gauge Super can also be assembled in both Spanning or Cantilevering Configurations, up to 27″ (685mm) long.
The Junior’s Main Blade, and the optional Extender Blades are fitted with strong magnets that secure any of the Jr. Bridging Pit Gauges to the surface of the workpiece. These Magnetic Hold Downs have several benefits, such as; Aligning the unit to Concave or Convex surfaces, keeping the operator free to record readings or manipulate the assembly when Scanning through Pits and Weight loss Corrosion. These features position the Plus, and the Super far ahead of any competitive units.

Pipeline Inspectors Kit (N88-PI)As Westerns Pit Gauge Product Series gains popularity, we are able to address various industry needs. When Pipeline Inspectors see all of the different models of Pit Gauges we offer, and the boss wont shell out the money for one of our Bridge Type units, they figure out what they can get by with. Due to customer requests, we now offer the Pipeline Inspectors Kit.
The Pipeline Inspectors Kit consists of the following components;
Carry Case (7 x 5 x 2).
Dial Indicator (Imperial, Metric, or Digital).
Reaching Plus Blade (N88-6).
Pocket Blade (N88-4).
Basic Blade (N88-2).
Allan Key.
Spare Contact Point.
Operator Instructions.No matter which Blade the Dial indicator is installed on, all the components will fit inside the rugged Carrying Case.
The Reaching Blade is 4 (121mm) long, so it will deal with larger pits, but cant tackle large areas of Weight-Loss-Corrosion or Dents, like one of our Bridging Pit Gauges. As an option, we can substitute the Composite Reaching Plus Magnetic Blade (N88-6MC) which is 6 (152mm) long, with powerful magnets. In any case, the cut-away nose, at the end of either Reaching Blade, allows the Gauge to measure right up to a Weld, Riser, or Re-Pad.The Basic Blade will most often have the Dial Indicator installed on it, as the Basic Pit Gauge is by far the most popular Dial Indicator Pit Depth Gauge we offer. As illustrated to the right, no matter the Configuration of assembly, everything still fits into the rugged custom made carrying case.
